Introduction to Return To Work (RTW) Coordinator NSW

This course is approved by WorkCover NSW and conducted by a qualified and experienced trainer.

A return to work coordinator is a worker nominated by an employer, whose purpose is to assist injured workers to return to work in a safe and durable manner by working in consultation with the injured worker, employer insurer and nominated treating doctor.

Under workers compensation law, Category 1 employers (ie. employers whose basic tariff premium exceeds $50,000, as well as self insurers, and employers who are insured by a specialised insurer and who employ more than 20 workers) must have a return to work coordinator. The Return to Work Coordinator must hold a WorkCover NSW approved certificate.

Training Details
The Introduction to Return to Work program is conducted over 2 days – 9am to 4pm. To achieve competence, participants must attend on both days.

Certificate
Successful participants will receive a WorkCover NSW certificate.
